We are proud to be independent, we work with all the UK insurers, and our team are fully advised. This means we search the whole market for you, we listen, understand and provide a solution. We offer you the choice to learn, discover and buy according to your needs whilst fitting your busy schedule.

Cover Direct was founded by Edward Durell who understood that Life Insurance is extremely complex, emotional and something we don’t really like to think about. He believes that the current market does not put the customer first, seeing instances of bad advice, pushy sales people, zero relationship and customers that did not actually understand their policies.

We started from scratch, with one objective – customer based outcomes. We set up an office which is based in Camberley, Surrey and built our operational framework to create optionality and efficiency to appeal to all people and their unique situations.

Everything about us is simple and intuitive, after all protection insurance is complicated enough. We built a panel of insurers with all the big names and some smaller ones, so that we can help advise everyone. But importantly we give our customers the chance to understand their situation, their risks and ultimately what is important to them. We do this through our fact find journey, we help along the way as we are the experts, we help you make your decision, in your time – no sales people just advisers.

We have a mission, to provide an understanding of Life Insurance to everyone, because frankly everyone has the right to find out if they need it or not – it’s your decision, your way.
